St.Lucia is small beautiful island in the eastern Caribbean, the island of St.Lucia is 238 square miles in size and has a small population of 170,000 inhabitants, many of the inhabitants are very well traveled people with 20% of it's natives resides in England,another 15% resides in the USA & then 10% resides in Canada, whence the reason why people from many different cultures has settled comfortably in and around the island. It is important to note 85% of the native speaks fluent English & a dialect of French patois language and derived from the African origin and are predominantly followers of the Roman catholic faith religion. The island is a tropical paradise with temperature reaching 35 degrees.The island has lush vegetation of many fruits & floral, our main agricultural crop was Bananas which we use to market in volumes to Europe before it's decline in 1985 to Tourism which is the current mainstay in this economy. We also grow cocoa, coconuts, breadfruit & citrus.The island of St.Lucia is surrounded by water with many white sandy beaches, hills & valleys. We have produced two (2) world acclaim nobel prize laureates from this beautiful island in the Caribbean.
